The Giving Tree

We believe that no child should be without a gift at Christmas. Instant Neighbour’s Giving Tree appeal continues to be supported by many local businesses and the general public, to distribute new toys to children across the City & Shire who otherwise would not receive a gift at Christmas.

Instant Neighbour works with social work departments, community projects, and other similar organisations across Aberdeen City and Shire as well as our own clients. Both Instant Neighbour and these organisations work with parents and families living in very difficult situations; many of these families are unable to afford to buy Christmas gifts for their children. The Giving Tree ensures that these children will not go without gifts at Christmas.

Once again, we’re raising funds to offer free tickets for those who could truly use a bit of Christmas magic in their lives. With your generous support, we can ensure that local children and families, especially those facing financial and other challenges, can enjoy performances from me, Jack and all our friends.

FOOD FOR FAMILIES PROJECT 2025

As part of our annual Food for Families project, Gateway works diligently each year to provide families in need throughout the Highlands with food and essential items during the festive period. This year, in addition to our raffle, we are seeking donations of non-perishable food items, new and sealed toiletries, and new, sealed, or gently used “little extras” that could add a touch of magic to a family’s Christmas.
